Mihai is an empathetic and positive psychotherapy intern who’s passionate about supporting others through their struggles and finding balance in their lives. His purpose is to help you find a sense of autonomy, direction, and self-understanding so that you can live in a way that aligns with your ideal self.
Having immigrated to Canada at a young age, Mihai has lived between his home culture of Canada and his birth culture of Romania for much of his life. As such, Mihai is attuned to the challenges and advantages of immigration, as well as the impact of culture and upbringing in our daily lives. He is also very aware of and sensitive to helping you navigate your unique difficulties related to race, sexual identity, gender, religion, workplace challenges, health issues, trauma, interpersonal relationships, and more.
Mihai is highly committed to his personal and professional development. As a creative and passionate person, Mihai spends his spare time nurturing his close interpersonal relationships, spending time with his dog, creating and playing music, rock climbing, cooking, and playing video games.
